Rest assured

We brought up the fact before that despite the Yankees' depth, they are relying on only three starters in the playoffs, using them on three days' rest  (the same went for the Red Sox, at least

Struggling Hamels; AFL stats

When I picked the Phillies to win the World Series, I should have added a few disclaimers, like Cole Hamels needs to pitch like he's capable.

Guessing on the Phillies, RJ

The Yankees vs. Phillies is a good match-up. Hope the weather holds up (The Series should be nearly over, but for the blasted, drawn out TV schedule)..

Tale of two lefties

Good thing I was concerned about C.C. Sabathia going on 3 days' rest against the Angels Tuesday night. He lasted only 8 innings, allowing 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, and striking out 5. 101 pitches.

Doubtful.

"No excuses"

The better team won this series. After the Angels took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 ALDS series, it is not surprising that they advanced to the ALCS.
