Republican Bruce Poliquin, a candidate for governor, reports contributions of $277,265 in the first reporting period of 2009, according to a press release he sent out today.
Matt Jacobson, a Republican who formed an exploratory committee in February to consider a run for governor in 2010, said today he plans to make an announcement about his candidacy in early May.
Things are going well, he said.
The list of those who are seriously considering a run for governor got one name longer this week when Maine & Co.'s Matt Jacobson said he formed an exploratory committee.
