Updated election results
Election Day is here. For many Americans, myself included, this is the most anticipated election our lifetimes.
Of course, part of the reason is that this election will make history. Hopefully by Wednesday morning, we'll know whether we have the first black president or the first female vice president. Will it be Obama or McCain? Collins or Allen? Pingree or Summers?
Besides the big-ticket races, there are dozens of local contests with seats in the Maine legislature up for grabs. You'll be able to track both the presidential and Maine races as the results come in. With help from the Bangor Daily News, we've built a site with live election updates.
Here's what it looks like: Election results page. Be sure to check it out Tuesday night for the latest results.
And if you need to do some last-minute research, visit our Election 2008 page.
