New advertising web sites
It's the news that sells newspapers, but it's advertising that keeps us in business.
With that in mind, we've rolled out a couple of new advertising web pages to make it easier for customers to reach us and sort through some of the different advertising packages we offer. If you want to learn about our web demographics, audience, statistics, ad sizes and specifications, visit the Kennebec Journal online advertising site, or the Morning Sentinel ad site.
You can also find advertising information by using the so-called "footer" across the bottom of kjonline.com and onlinesentinel.com.
Also, you may notice that the footer has been re-designed. We've cleaned up what was a confusing and jumbled mess that included many out-dated or dead links. In its replacement is a simple and cleanly designed footer with six new links that take visitors to different destinations.
The links and their wording make sense -- to me anyway. I look at this stuff all the time so I think it's fairly obvious which part of the site a visitor will be directed to when he or she clicks on a footer link. Here's a summary of what the new footer links -- from left to right -- are designed to do.
