Gas prices keep crawling up; post your local station's hereAs any driver knows, the price of gas continues to creep up at Maine gas stations. Consumers report on the Web site, www.mainegasprices.com, stations are selling regular gasoline anywhere from $2.55 to $2.65 per gallon. It is an increase of almost $.40 in one month. It's not all bad news, though: Last year at this time, Mainers were shelling out $4 per gallon for regular gasoline. Post gas prices -- both the deals and the obscenely high -- here, or drop us a line and let us know what's going on in your community: mmalloy@centralmaine.com or 623-3811 ext. 431.
