deKastrozza out for Friday's game at UMass

Maine Coach Tim Whitehead said this afternoon that David deKastrozza, a senior forward, will not travel to Massachusetts for the Black Bears' Hockey East opener on Friday because of the flu.
DeKastrozza missed Wednesday's practice with flu-like symptoms and will miss today's practice.
"There's an outside chance he might drive down to play Saturday at New Hampshire," said Whitehead, who added that deKastrozza does not have the H1N1 flu virus.
DeKastrozza, of Toms River, N.J., scored his first two goals at Maine in last weekend's series against Michigan State.
