This league is just startingThe Red Sox are done, but it's not over for all the players in the Red Sox organization. The Arizona Fall League began Tuesday, and the Red Sox had good representation with the Mesa Solar Sox. Jose Iglesias, 19, the Cuban shortstop recently signed to a major league contract, went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI ... Outfielder Ryan Kalish went 1-for-4 with a RBI. Randor Bierd started and pitched three hitless innings (1 BB, 1 K), needing only 31 pitches ... Chris Province pitched one inning (1 K) and Dustin Richardson pitched two innings (1 H, 3 K). Bierd, 25, is the pitcher the Red Sox got from the Orioles in the David Pauley trade. Bierd, who pitched in 29 games for Balitmore in 2008, made only 25 appearances with Pawtucket this year (4.55 ERA).
